Established in 1991 simply as a project band, Stray Toasters has evolved into a solid quartet of musical integrity. Never losing a sense of experimenting or delving into different styles and sounds has indeed been what has kept this band working. The same reason would explain the ongoing support from their fans as well. The band has felt people have an ongoing curiosity towards what they are currently working on. What started out as an interesting alternative , atmosphereic sound has evolved into more story told songs with an alternative backbone, but at times, crossing into reggae, latin , folk , and even hints of carribbian island music. There is no page long enough to list all the influences that have come before Stray Toasters , but the band feels a responsibility to take those influences and forge forward . With a fourthcoming CD ( Let Go My Ego ) and a live CD to boot, Stray Toasters head into 2006 with plenty of plans for the future.
